I'm recalling most of the bugs I had with Hula on Debian.

After installation, Bongo does nothing.
After manually installing and tweaking the example apache conf file, as well as going through the (different) steps here, I finally have something working. But just like in hula:
/etc/init.d/bongoproject start|restart does nothing.
However, starting it manually:
bongo-manager
starts the server, and the web interface now works.

There are however no agents running, and bongo-admin doesn't help much, and there is now howto/doc/faq on how to activate the agents. Running for instance bongoimap as is, works, and I can connect to it and move mail to the account over IMAP. SMTP however doesn't seem to work very well (can't mail to my bongo).

When opening a mail in the web GUI, it fails with a red alert "Could not load: HTTP Error: 500/".
But I can view the mail in a mail app through IMAP.

So, to sum up,
* debian package is broken
* how to manage the agents is unknown/undocumented
* web interface broken?

Is there _ANY_ kind of administration tool? Or are we supposed to use bongo-admin and "guess" how the parameters works?

Hi Opera,

Strange that it was not working.

I used the install myself and did not have to tweak anything.

Did you run bongo-config install before starting the server?
