Are there any clients that work with Bongo Calendar?  Somthing that might be able to sync back and forth?

According to the Roadmap ( http://www.bongo-project.org/Roadmap ), I think this will be possible with M4 or later release.

For 1.0, if I remember correctly, it is a goal to have support for Evolution, Sunbird and Thunderbird with Lightning. (I might be wrong though)

There are also plans to have an opensync style conduit to enable syncing to mobile devices and other services.
