First off, great piece of software!

However, it's not clear from the docs what the system/software requirements...unless I didn't search hard enough to find them. What are the requirements before I try it out on my server?

Also, it's not clear if Bongo supports iCal... In particular: (1) can it import an iCal calendar file or subscribe to an iCal feed on the web? (2) can it export your calendars to an ical file or share calendars through an ical feed?

Does bongo have these things?

Hi ikaruga,

At the moment, the iCal export from Bongo is there but a little bit dodgy, and subscription isn't accessible at all. These will both be working in the 0.4 release, though.

The system requirements are really pretty low - I run it on a P3-700 with 128Mb RAM, and it performs fine. You don't need much RAM at all really.

Thanks for the info...

What about software requirements? What do I need to run Bongo? Php 5, mysql, etc?

No, no PHP or MySQL.

The main requirements are a version of SQLite installed, libcurl, python, CLucene and potentially some kind of web server like Apache.
