Hi monyedmail,
That's very bizarre! You shouldn't have a /bongo.
Could you let me know the contents of /bongo, and (if you installed from source) what you supplied to configure when you started the build?

the /bongo contains is same with /usr/local/bongo/sbin/
but its have src folder that contain dragoneye. but when i try to work it, its doesn't seems to run in localhost. its like more individual.
the /bongo is used for autogen the source in /usr/local/bongo/sbin/ isn't right?
thats why i'm confess when you say that i'm bizzare what i've worked out.
how about you? you have the /bongo right?

Hi,
No I have a feeling you were in / when you ran the svn command and not in /root
But we need to talk a bit more to see how you set-up your system.
Bongo has been updated quite a bit so perhaps you need to start fresh :-)
Hope the exams went well
Lance

thank for supporting my exam
hmmm... this is what ive done... 1. install all of the things like... " bison, build-essential, etc.. some item need to configure. when it comes, i just set it default(it mean i didn't change it/ i leave it/just next on button) then when it require to set the password, i use mine. 2. then i just ran the svn source, do not configure the place 3. add user bongo --> for what? 4. compile or make it. and the n /make install
5. configure the ./bongo-config install ip = 127.0.0.1 domain = localhost 6. then i run it with ./bongo-manager or ./bongo-manager -d
how is it?

Hi Monyedmail,
Sorry for not replying sooner I had some issues with my systems at home.
Some answers
1. that is good. What OS is this again? 2. By running the SVN source do you mean the build scripts? 3. Bongo needs a uer to run as to be secure. 4. did you get any error? 5. Were there any errors here? 6. That is the way to run it if you have no initscript.
Thanks
Lance
