well, i was trying to install bongo on gentoo and i was following the instructions they have on the bongo installation section.
first, i couldn't install the stable '0.30' version, it was asking for clucene-9.18 or less, and there is only the 9-20 in the gentoo tree. so i resorted to svn version which results in....
the second problem. it doesn't ask for clucene, but it spits out an error saying "Filesize does not match recorded size."

I fixed that by doing as root:

             # ebuild PATH_TO_EBUILD digest

replace 'PATH_TO_EBUILD' with the actual path to the ebuild.

hope this helps

ZouZou,

Apologies for not getting back to you earlier.

I have no idea what the problem is with your svn install or the package. Why not join us on #bongo on irc.oftc.net
