/usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/bongo$ bongo-config user add admin
msgapi: Failed to open database "/var/spool/bongo/dbf/userdb.sqlite".
msgapi: Failed to open database "/var/spool/bongo/dbf/userdb.sqlite".

Had to install with sudo bongo-config user add admin... that seemed to do it.

Hi Cornbread,

I have not tested the ubuntu install. But all commands must be run with sudo as root rights are needed to do this.

So when you run bongo-config use sudo bongo-config install

that should fix your issues. and then make sure you start bongo after you have finished the bongo-config .
