Hello.
I've just built and installed bongo 0.5.2 on archlinux.
I used the following config options:
./configure  --with-user=bongo --prefix=/usr/local/bongo

I have a user named bongo created.
after running make install, i'm trying to set it up using
./bongo-config  -v install
but it just sits there and doesnt do anything.

Not sure where to go from here as I'm not getting any errors? is there a log I can look at?

Hi,

The correct way to run bongo-config is

bongo-config install

I don't think the -v option has been implemented

Then just answer the questions.

The problem is I dont get any questions...it just sits there. I tried with the verbose option to see if I could get some output, it didnt help..just sits there either way.

I don't seem to get that problem.

can i suggest you go to #bongo on irc.oftc.net and ask so_solid_moo or Fatpelt to try and help you find out why.
they wrote the code so would be better placed to help you out

thanks..irc is blocked at work..will give it a shot tonight.

just in case anyone else is having this problem. was due to low load on my box. work around was to move /dev/random and symlink /dev/urandom until the installer finishes.
